Really happy with this purchase. It sits on the kitchen side nicely alongside the kettle. There are 2 sizes of ice cubes and they just take 6 mins for each batch to be made. I left it on all night during a party and we had a never ending supply.

The first few batches of ice were a bit on the flimsy side but as it got going it was much better. They aren't anything like real ice cubes, but what can you expect in just 9 minutes?! They melted pretty quickly in drinks but they were more than adequate. I set it off for the whole tank and collected each batch and put them into zipper bags that I then put in the freezer. They were even better once they had frozen properly in the freezer. I don't find it to be any noisier than I expected it to be, certainly no louder than a kettle boiling...it does its job very well. Very handy gadget to have, and now I've got one I would replace it if it ever breaks down.

Both size options work, the smaller size is quicker, the larger is slower. The mechanism is quite addictive to watch, it drops them down and scopes them into the basket, then draws water into the scoop and repeats all over again. The ice in the basket will melt and they will stick together, but whilst it's freezing a new bunch, you can quickly whip out the basket, drop the ice into a container in the freezer and put it back. Just remember to give the ice a shake once in your freezer to stop them bonding together.

The pros: it's small, quiet, and makes enough ice for 2 people as long as once in a while you freeze some in the freezes. The only con is that sometimes I could use more, faster, ice. But you'll only get that from ice makers twice as big.

Great ice making machine, quiet enough and good amount of ice created if you made sure water remained topped up and ice emptied when basket filled. Unfortunately just over 3 months in it has developed a fault and now doesn’t produce any ice so has become a large paperweight. Water flows as if it’s working and makes all the right noises but nothing but water moving around.

Die Maschine funktioniert einwandfrei und hat meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Die Maschine produziert 9 Eiswürfel in nur 6 Minuten, was besonders praktisch ist, wenn man schnell Nachschub braucht. Innerhalb von 24 Stunden schafft sie problemlos 12 kg Eiswürfel, was mehr als genug für den täglichen Bedarf oder größere Veranstaltungen ist. Ich liebe auch die Möglichkeit, zwischen zwei verschiedenen Eiswürfelgrößen zu wählen. Egal ob für Cocktails, Softdrinks oder einfach für ein Glas Wasser, ich kann die Eiswürfelgröße passend zur jeweiligen Anwendung auswählen. Ein weiteres tolles Feature ist die Selbstreinigungsfunktion, die die Wartung der Maschine extrem einfach macht. Das spart viel Zeit und sorgt dafür, dass die Maschine immer hygienisch bleibt. Das Gerät ist Kompakt und einfach zu bedienen. Anhand der Bedienungsanleitung versteht man die Funktion sehr schnell. Wir haben dieses Gerät fürs Campen gekauft. Den ersten Testlauf hat es bestanden. Nach ein paar Minuten waren die ersten Eiswürfel fertig. Ganz praktisch finde ich, dass das entstandene Wasser im Ablauf wiederverwendet wird. Also es geht zurück ins System und wird zu Eiswürfeln. Die genaue Testphase beginnt dann im Juli in Kroatien. Ich werde den Bericht ergänzen falls etwas auffallen sollte. Update 1: Das Gerät war nun zwei Tage in Folge in Benutzung. Wir sind total begeistert und zufrieden. Eiswürfel werden schnell produziert.
